2019 Candlelight Vigil Honors Those Lost or Suffering from Addiction
The 11th annual NOPE Pinellas candlelight vigil was attended by hundreds of people looking to remember family and friends lost or suffering from addiction. Guest speakers spoke of increasing number of overdoses and about hope for recovery. Keynote speaker Alton Voss spoke of his addiction journey, lossing his USF Football scholarship and his dream of playing in the NFL. He told about his recovery from addiction, his healing and his new dreams and goals with a restored commitment.
